Water Resistant Stockinette

Innovative and simple product solution to support your patients’ increased hygiene needs. Synthetic casts made using Delta-Dry® Stockinette and Softliner allow patients to wash their hands, shower or bathe whilst wearing their cast. Delta-Dry stockinette in conjunction with Delta-Dry water resistant undercast padding can be applied just like standard stockinette and padding - no new techniques needed. Latex-free formula.

Features and benefits

Water-resistant with quick-dry system
  • Patented Delta-Dry material offers water-resistance​
  • Open knit structure of the fibres accelerate drainage after submerging in water​
  • Patient’s body temperature evaporates residual moisture quickly through the airy mesh. Helps the cast and skin dry quickly, skin feels dry in about 90 minutes after daily hygiene
Boost hygiene and patient comfort
  • Polypropylene-nylon-polyester mesh of Delta-Dry products provides a soft, comfortable cushion on the patient’s skin​
  • High breathability keeps skin dry and well aerated helping to reduce skin problems such as maceration, itching and odour​
  • Patients can also use with both alcohol and water-based hand sanitisers, as needed, without compromising the integrity of the cast​
  • Helping to improve patient compliance and satisfaction
Apply and removing Delta-Dry
  • Delta-Dry can be applied using standard casting techniques. Delta-Dry Stockinette is applied the same way as conventional stockinette and the Delta-Dry Softliner is applied using 2 layers, with no padding required​
  • The highly conformable and stretchable material makes wrinkle-free application easily and quickly achievable​
  • Delta-Dry can be removed using standard removal equipment​
  • Zip sticks are available for removal when using a traditional cast saw, refer to the instructions for use for further information
