National Casting Day Registration

National Casting Day is an opportunity for cast rooms and those specialising in orthopaedic care to celebrate their expertise and skills. Explore National Casting Day.

Complete the National Casting Day 2026 registration form. Select the drop down 'Celebration Pack ONLY' if your team are just participating in the National Casting Day celebrations. Select the drop down 'Celebration Pack AND Mystery Box Challenge' if your team also want to participate in the Mystery Box Challenge. 

Note: one National Casting Day pack and one Mystery Box Challenge pack is sent per department. These are sent to the first person that registers in that department. Therefore, if your colleague has already registered for a pack(s), the pack(s) will be sent to your colleague. 

Complete the National Casting Day 2026 registration form and select the drop down 'Celebration Pack AND Mystery Box Challenge'. You will then receive a pack containing all materials and instructions (along with your National Casting Day pack), giving you the chance to showcase your casting skills while having some fun! 

Note: both packs are one per department and will be sent to the first person that completes the registration form. 

Each National Casting Day celebration pack includes a range of materials to help you create an engaging in-branch celebration, including National Casting Day T-shirts, bunting and balloons for decoration, pens, supermarket trolley tokens and biscuits! It also includes brochures, product catalogues and posters. 

To support sustainability, please reuse any existing bunting, flags and display materials from previous years wherever possible. Need some inspiration? Watch the 2025 National Casting Day celebration video.

National Casting Day will take place on Thursday 5th November 2026. Mark the date in your diary!

We will start sending out the National Casting Day packs about 6-8 weeks before National Casting Day. You should expect to receive your pack no later than 3 weeks prior to National Casting Day, which is on Thursday 5 November 2026. Don't forget! It is just one National Casting Day pack per organisation. If you requested to participate in the Mystery Box Challenge, this will be included with your National Casting Day pack.

The Mystery Box Challenge is your opportunity to show your cast room skills and have a bit of fun at the same time. Your mystery box will contain all materials and details of the challenge.
